Thomas Turnbull - 1766 Roxburg Scotland

Thomas never came to America; he died in Scotland in 1814. In 1820 his widow, Sarah Wood, and her surviving 9 unmarried children sailed to from Leith (Edinburgh) on June 16th and arrived Quebec City August 10th. They continued up the St. Lawrence River arriving Montreal on the 14th and several weeks later arrived in Rossie, NY where the family resided for many years.
